With 30 years of business and IT experience, “MG” has worked extensively across Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe and North America, and is now based in New Zealand. Throughout his career, he has worked for HCL, IBM, NCR, Oracle and Progress in technical, sales, management and consulting roles.

“MG” contributes to the long-term viability of an organisation by shortening project cycles, reducing project costs, improving the quality of the results delivered and minimising the strain on project teams. He increases the chance of success through effective risk management, and believes that successful projects help an organisation introduce new systems to profit from the challenges of the future.

Through relentless identification of productivity opportunities, “MG” assists and mentors management teams to prepare for business renewal, succession planning, investment preparation, and mergers and acquisition related activities. Using technology as a key enabling component, he helps businesses develop scalable platforms for growth.

 

General

 

“MG” has lectured at the Asian Institute of Management in Manila, the Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand, as well as several in-house technical and management development programs.

 

A Rotarian Paul Harris Fellow, he has participated in large-scale disaster relief programs after the Mt Pinatubo eruption in the Philippines and the Asian tsunami.

 

“MG” has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and further education in management, electronics and law.
